Hanging lamps, an ideal alternative to standard light fixtures can really deliver on style and function when done right. That said, here’s some information you should know before switching to pendant lights.

Types

These types of lamps provide ambient lighting with three and in some cases up to ten light sources from the same fixture. Multi-light pendant lights can ideally be used as a cheap alternative to chandeliers.

With Fabric Shade

This one adds a luxurious look to a conventional hanging lamp. This type of lamp provides ambient lighting and can be utilized in a living room, kitchen, bedroom or in a foyer. You can ideally use it as an alternative to a chandelier above a breakfast or dining table.
